The Brightest Star in the Sky

This would have been a five star (no pun intended) book except for two things.  Well, really those two things are tied together.  The spirit narrator didn’t get in the way of the story much until the end, and then it was just plain silly.  The 460+ pages read really quickly, so don’t let the size deter you.   Marian Keyes or Maeve Binchy fans won’t be disappointed.

The story revolves around four main characters who live in the same apartment building in Dublin.  The book begins with them being only nodding acquaintances, but of course, their lives become entwined as time goes on.  If your looking for light summer reading, this fits the bill.
