Erica and I saw the movie Friday and we both walked away smiling. It was only an hour and 17 minutes long but I felt it was just the right length. There was no narrator, which I think I was expecting, but it didn’t need one. I was afraid the director might be making a statement about which cultures had it “right” when raising children, but there was no such bias. Babies are babies everywhere is the only message. Well, that and babies don’t need anything but rocks and sticks to entertain themselves. Not a bad reminder in our accumulative society.
