On track for empty nest

Erica and I drove to Fayetteville this week for orientation.  We woke up on Monday morning with water in the basement so Dave stayed home.  (That turned into a huge deal when he accidentally unplugged the cable, leaving us without phone, internet and tv.  It took 3 technicians four days to figure out the problem!)  She had a good time and met several really nice girls, including one of her roommates.  It’s sinking in that she’ll actually be leaving in two months.  I’m excited for her but not so much for myself.  I think her being gone will seem stranger than not working, but time will tell.
